27.7.2011 Torstaipurjehdus /Thorsdaysailing (18)

Torstaipurjehdusta kevyessä tuulessa. Osa veneistä häipyi todella kauas. Meillä luovit ei kovin hyvin sujuneet. Myötäisellä leikattiin melko kovin. Viimeisellä kääntömerkillä huomattiin, että genaakkerin nostin kulki rullan kautta kierteeltä, joten ei saatu rullaa auki. Loppuosuus mentiin genaakkerilla, mikä toimikin sivutuulessa hyvin, kunnes aivan lopussa tuuli kääntyi luoville. Silloin oli pakko ottaa genaakkeri alas ja selvittä sotku. No olihan se taas hyvää kokemusta.

Thorsdaysailing in light wind. Some part of boats went really far away. Our tacking was not very goot. On tailwind we went not straight to wind. On the last swingsign we noticed that the liftrope was behind the rollergenoa. We could not open the rollergenoa. So we sailed the crosswind part with the genaakker. In the last part the wind turned ahead. We had to take off the genaakker and clear up the fallropes. So the sailing was again good experience.
